ULTRAMAN R/B the Movie: Select! The Crystal of Bond is now premiering in Japan.

An advanced screening event had taken place with the greeting of the actors and staff. Let’s take you inside!

Advanced Screening Event Report

At the event, starting with the director, the Minato siblings Katsumi, Isami, and Asahi, Riku Asakura, and singer/songwriter for the main theme Tsuruno Takeshi appeared at the greeting. In addition, as a surprise guest, the other singer/songwriter for the main theme, DAIGO had joined.

“Since one year ago, we have been shooting the TV series as well as the movie. I am very excited to be able to finally share the movie with the audience.” Commented Yuya Hirata, who plays Katsumi Minato in the series. Ryosuke Koike who plays Isami and Arisa Sonohara who plays Asahi had also commented their enthusiasm with the premiering of the movie.

“The ULTRAMAN R/B TV series is themed around family bonds. The movie also has this essence. The staff and cast have created this movie with much passion, and believe it is very ‘Ultraman R/B-like’.” Commented director Takesue. We were able to see the great teamwork that happened at the shooting.

There was also a question and answer from the Minato siblings to the “senpai” ULTRAMAN, Takeshi Tsuruno and DAIGO. Questions included “In one word how would you describe ULTRAMAN?” “When do you acknowledge ULTRAMAN?” We were able to see each one’s love for ULTRAMAN.
